We never did get pregnant. We actively tried to conceive for eight years but were never successful. I say it all in past tense because it was five years ago at the age of 37 when I was given the diagnosis of premature menopause, thereby closing that window of possibly being able to get pregnant.

Everyone deals with their crosses differently. Me, personally….I am a verbal processor. I need to talk aloud about my struggles in order to think through them.
